Since graduating from The University of Salford in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, Corinne has worked in a variety of settings specialising in musculoskeletal therapy. Gaining experience in private practices in the North West as well as providing physiotherapy and rehabilitation for Bolton Metro Swim Squad, Eccles RFC, Waterloo RFC, Lancashire Women’s Rugby Team, North West Women’s Rugby Team, Cheshire U16 Rugby Team and Scottish Exiles U16s.
Since joining the Summit team, Corinne has had the opportunity to work alongside some highly-skilled physiotherapists and rehab specialists, which has developed her hands-on skills and furthered her rehabilitation knowledge, with particular emphasis on pilates. These have become particular areas of interest, and she draws on her own sporting experience to relate and deliver patients the most appropriate individual rehabilitation programs. This experience, combined with being a qualified swimming coach, gives a whole new dimension to her rehabilitation and technical input to avoid shoulder injuries or enhance triathlon training.
Corinne has swam at national level with Horwich Swimming Club and Bolton Metro, regularly representing the county until the age of 18, and now has that honour on the rugby pitch, playing for Waterloo Ladies, the North of England and captaining Lancashire.
