Corinne allmark

Hi I’m Corinne, As a busy mum of twins my athletic life has been on hold, however, I was previously a national swimmer and coach. I then transferred the strength from swimming onto the rugby pitch and played for club, county and region, for whom I was also the team physiotherapist.

Having the experience of not only competing at a good level but also coaching and providing the physiotherapy to those athletes, I believe this gave me as a therapist, a good insight into what you as a patient wants and needs from your treatment sessions.

The differences I have experienced between swimming and rugby enable me to cover a wide range of sporting challenges, plus further working with different athletes in clinic has allowed this experience to get stronger, year on year.

Being part of Summit has enabled me to do what I love, which is helping people to understand their injuries and how we can overcome any barriers and better ourselves. An injury is an opportunity to learn something about yourself and ideally improve on what you were able to do before, whether this be by training differently or more efficiently.

I love the different people we meet working in clinic, and I gain real job satisfaction in being able to help improve their lives.
