Josh ASquith

Hi, I’m Tom.  I’ve been a member of the Summit team since April of 2018, having previously worked in professional football with Fleetwood Town FC

During my time in sport I gained experience in dealing with a wide range of conditions and developed an interest in human movement and performance. I have since completed a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise medicine and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds.

In the clinic, my areas of interest include injury reduction, movement assessment, strength and conditioning and late-stage injury rehabilitation. I understand the importance of exercise as part of daily routine and aim to keep clients as active as possible as we work together towards recovery.

I aim to promote positivity when dealing with injury and see it as an opportunity for development. My personal sporting and fitness interests include everything from team games to individual events, motorsport, running and general gym training.

I believe that rehabilitation should be enjoyable and provide clients with both the knowledge and the tools to reduce the likelihood of getting injured in the future. I like to keep up to date with the most recent research so that I can offer honest, evidence-based guidance throughout.

I get great satisfaction from being part of the journey from initial injury to the point of full return to activity. Rebuilding after injury whilst managing a busy schedule can be challenging, so my target is always to help people get back to doing what they enjoy as quickly as possible. I aim to help people become more resilient so they don’t need any help in the future!
