Laura Taylor

Hi, I’m Laura, I’m based at our Wrightington clinic.
I have been working for Summit Physiotherapy since 2013 following on from a background working with sports teams.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to further my skills and knowledge whilst working alongside a range of other medical professionals, keeping up with the best evidence-based practice and attending regular CPD events.

I have experience in a huge variety of musculoskeletal injuries/injuries involving movement dysfunction and take a particular interest in Pilates; having completed the APPI matwork 1 Pilates course.

Alongside this, I have also enjoyed learning and practicing The Performance Matrix Screening, which has fantastic success rates with clients from all backgrounds.

I take huge pride in my care for my patients, and enjoy working with them to assess what their problem or injury is, the root cause of it, and how it can be managed moving forward to improve general day to day life, giving them the confidence to return to sporting activity or any other goalsĀ that they have.

I work with the ethos that no injury is the same, and each patient presents different biomechanics, circumstances and requirements so treatment should be tailored to personally suit them and their requirements. I get a lot of satisfaction in helping people, no matter what theirĀ circumstances are.

As a great believer in a healthy lifestyle, when I am not working, I enjoy yoga and running and will try any kind of outdoor activity.
