Team kaobon
We’re proud to say that we’ve been working closely with Team Kaobon for over five years now. Kaobon are a mixed martial arts team based in Liverpool, and has garnered a reputation for being one of the top training grounds in the UK for British UFC fighters.
Summit works with Kaobon’s elite fighters with guidance from the team’s head coach Colin Heron. Our strategy is designed to support the fighters in the ways that Colin believes will be the most effective in seeing them earn more titles around the world.
Our work includes the implementation of injury prevention strategies in order to keep Kaobon’s pro fighters fully fit for every match. A lot of our efforts go into continually improving our understanding of the mechanics of MMA as a sport, to help in treating Kaobon’s athletes during rehabilitation.
Summit is deeply proud to support Colin and his fighters as they con tune to take the fighting world by storm.
TeAMS FOR YOU (T4U)
We support and strengthen poverty stricken communities around the world and empower children to follow their dreams and break the poverty mould.”
Teams For You (T4U) is a charity that specialises in supporting poverty-stricken countries overseas, particularly those areas most at risk to diseases like HIV. Here at Summit, we’ve been supporting the founder Dave Cooke and his team of volunteers since 2002.
Over the years, we’ve travelled to a number of countries, including Ukraine, Crimea, Moscow and Hungry. We’ve been to Belarus twice, and this year’s visit to Uganda [was/will be] our fifth.
T4U provides aid in Uganda by enabling:
Child Empowerment
HIV/AIDS testing
Female Empowerment
Sports kit and equipment distribution
Self sustainable projects, including pig farms and orangeries.
Summit are proud to support T4U, backing our team member Andy Hosgood as he continues to work with them for a brighter future in the communities that need it the most.
