Team summit attended a Zumbathon for the legacy rainbow house and what a fantastic event it was. From everyone at The Legacy Rainbow House we would like to thank Summit Physio for attending our first ever Zumbathon on Sunday 11th March at Park Hall nightclub, Chorley . The event was a huge success for the Charity and most of the participants stayed and completed the whole 5 hours. We started the Zumbathon at 10am with a mini Zumbathon for children and then at 11am the serious gruelling 5 hours of pure zumba started, there were over 220 adults taking part which far exceeded all our expectations.
Summit Physio offered free messages throughout the day and many of the ladies were very thankful to have this available as their recovery period afterwards was reduced thanks to Andy and Jess.
The whole event to date has raised well over £8,000 from the ticket sales on the day, raffle and sponsorship money and donations. We cannot thank everyone enough for their support and donations and without Summit Physio we wouldn’t of had such a successful event. Thank you Andy and Jess
